تعريف الاسلام Definition of Islam

 

"Islam is one of the largest religions in the world. The foundation of Islam is the belief in the oneness of God and that Muhammad is His last prophet and messenger. This is manifested in the two testimonies, which are part of the five pillars of Islam, forming the basis of belief and practice in Islam:

1. The two testimonies: Acknowledging that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
2. Prayer: Performing the five obligatory prayers every day.
3. Almsgiving (Zakat): Paying a certain percentage of wealth to the poor and needy.
4. Fasting: Abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations from dawn until sunset during the month of Ramadan.
5. Pilgrimage (Hajj): Making a pilgrimage to Mecca once in a lifetime if possible, both financially and health-wise.

Islam is not just a religious system but also encompasses a social, political, economic, and legal system, all revolving around fundamental Islamic values such as justice, mercy, equality, and honesty. The Qur'an is the primary book in Islam, and Muslims consider it to be the word of God.

أساس الإسلام هو الإيمان بوحدة الله وأن محمداً هو نبيه الأخير ورسوله. هذا يتجلى في الشهادتين، وهي جزء من الأركان الخمس للإسلام، التي تشكل أساساً للعقيدة والعمل في الإسلام:

1. الشهادتين: الاعتراف بأن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمداً رسول الله.
2. الصلاة: أداء الصلوات الخمس المفروضة كل يوم.
3. الزكاة: دفع نسبة معينة من الثروة للفقراء والمحتاجين.
4. الصوم: الامتناع عن الطعام والشراب والعلاقات الجنسية من الفجر حتى غروب الشمس في شهر رمضان.
5. الحج: القيام بالحج إلى مكة مرة واحدة في الحياة إذا كان ذلك ممكنًا من الناحية المادية والصحية.

الإسلام ليس مجرد نظام ديني ولكنه أيضاً يشمل نظامًا اجتماعيًا وسياسيًا واقتصاديًا وقانونيًا، وكل ذلك يدور حول القيم الإسلامية الأساسية مثل العدالة والرحمة والمساواة والصدق. القرآن هو الكتاب الرئيسي في الإسلام ويعتبر المسلمون أنه كلمة الله.
